April 26 – Rocky Narrows, Sherborn

Trustees of Reservations property, with a hike to a canoe put-in along the Charles River, then up to King Philip’s Overlook.  Part of the area where Wampanoag Indian King Philip, son of Massasoit who helped the Pilgrims survive their first winter in Plymouth, waged war on the 2nd generation of English settlers who were taking native land and forcing natives to convert.  Watch the PBS series We Shall Remain.
