Bethany Beach, DE – June 2014

Took the ferry to Lewes, drove through Rehoboth Beach down to the cousins’ place between the ocean and bay in Bethany Beach. The new cable-stay bridge, like Boston’s Zakim/Bunker Hill Bridge, is a beauty and finally done. Someone on the beach had created a whole ground-assault scene with an assortment of action figures. Don’t know how long it was there, or who made it. High tide probably wouldn’t wash them away, but…
