Escher at the Currier Museum – January 4, 2015

Up north to the Currier Museum, Manchester, NH, for the last weekend of the M.C. Escher exhibit. Over 140 of his best-known prints – Relativity (the stairs), Waterfall, and tesselations – where the foreground is birds flying to the right, but the background is birds flying left.

The Currier has a nice collection of their own – a Picasso, a Hopper, and a lot of New England artists. They even paint the rest room floors to mimic the classical mosaics in the cafe. Click a photo to enlarge.
